Sometimes a single upgrade makes everything else on a house look better. That's exactly what happened here. Two separate garage structures, side by side - both got brand new doors with a clean contemporary window design, and the difference is night and day.
The before is pretty standard stuff. Traditional raised-panel doors, fine but nothing special. Then we swapped them out for flush-style doors with horizontal window inserts running along the left side of each panel. It's a simple design choice that reads as intentional and modern without going over the top.
Those windows aren't just for looks either. Natural light coming into a garage changes how the whole space feels. You stop needing to flip the light on every time you walk in, and it makes the interior feel less like a storage cave and more like an actual usable space.
What we like about this style of garage door installation is how well it plays with the existing exterior. The white doors against the brick and white siding look sharp and cohesive. Nothing was renovated except the doors, and yet the whole front of the property looks like it had a serious upgrade.
If your garage doors are dated or just blending into the background, this is the kind of swap that pays off fast - both in how the home looks and in how you feel pulling up to it every day.
